It feels like The Year changes after Labor Day
2014 has been pretty uneventful in terms of blog entries. If I had been writing about my summer on a regular basis it would have probably looked a lot like the following paragraph. Wake. Bath. Eat. Work. Eat again. Work some more. Eat again. Piddle around for a few hours. Sleep. Repeat.

Has 2014’s fever broke? Not yet.
In case you don’t get it, the headline is comparing this year to a person with a fever. Once the fever breaks, a person’s temperature goes down for good. And for a moment, I was beginning to think 2014 had seen the last of it’s high temps.

An Uninteresting, Happy 4th of July 2014
It doesn’t feel like I have much exciting to write about lately. All I did for the 4th is lay around for 3 days trying to rest a hurt shoulder. So far, this summer has been regular ole day to day living, which is just fine for me, but it doesn’t make for interesting reading.

Lake House project: The Rock Walk
Last summer I bought a small lake house. It is a fixer upper and the plan is to spend a couple of years working on various projects to get the house up to it’s charming potential.
