Observations I’ve made
it’s a fine line between questioning one’s ability vs not believing in one’s ability. I believe questioning can actually motivate a person’s spirit making them drive harder while doubting can crush a person’s spirit causing them to give up. I see nothing worse you can do to a person than crush their spirit.
I’ve heard it said “A rising tide lifts all boats”. And I believe that. But you still have to know how to captain a boat if you plan on going anywhere once it has risen.
a life lesson i’ve learned is that someone who constantly points out other peoples faults is usually more guilty of the accusation than the ones they are accusing.

If a person can’t teach you the right way to do something at least watch what they do wrong. Then do the opposite.
If a person fails repeatedly at a task you have asked them to do there comes a point where YOU are the one responsible for that failed task because you continually ask a person to do something they obviously can not do.
My philosophy on Life
My goal is to find a way to make “it” better. Then, make “it” even better than that.
My goal is to do all that I think I can do, then, do a little more.
For me, the goal isn’t to be good at what i’m suppose to be good at. It’s to be good at what i’m not suppose to be good at.
I believe life is always going to be a struggle for me. Whether it’s to get off the bottom, to reach the top or to stay on top. So if it’s always going to be a struggle I’m going to try and make it the struggle with the best view.
You might as well push yourself because if you don’t someone else will and it might not be the direction you want to be pushed in.
My philosophy on Politics
If ALL your political views lean left your not Liberal. If they ALL lean right your not Conservative. All you are is closed minded.
I don’t understand our political and social environment where we look at issues as if they are a flat line. We are told and accept that there is a center position and then positions on the left and right of that. That may be the case when you are looking straight on at something but we live on a round world. Not only is there a center, a left and a right but there is also a top and a bottom, a front and a back. Not everyone is going to have the same viewpoint. For example, If your a standing in a position that does not allow you to see the back side or the top side of something, that does not mean it doesn’t exist just because you can’t see it.
I believe all it takes to be a career politician is simple magic tricks. By using sleight of hand, they get you to notice what one hand is giving you so you don’t notice what the other hand is taking away.
When given a choice between a career democrat or a career republican, the biggest mistake I could make is believing I’ve been given a choice.
When discussing the government of this country and I can validly point out things that are wrong/broken which could easily be fixed by anyone with any real world common sense, I hate when someone replies “well, things here (USA) aren’t as bad as they are in (country of your choice)” or “It’s not perfect but it’s the best thing going.” I Just don’t understand that mentality. To me that is like saying “We don’t have to be the best we can be. We just have to be better than everyone else.” That is like being in a class at school where everyone else made an F but I got a D and found that acceptable because it was better than everyone else’s grade. Technically, I was smarter than everyone else but realistically I still wasn’t very smart.
Man’s nature seems to be destructive. Religion. Education. Politics. Seems to suppress it for some. For others, simply disguises it.
It seems like every day we are hearing about another freedom that the government is trying to take away. At first I bought into it but the more I thought about it the more I wondered? Are we really losing our liberties or are we slowly learning that we never really had them in the first place? Have we been fooled into believing we have rights just to keep us pacified?
