If ever there is a table
That I would like a seat at

And I am offered that seat

Whether it’s because I asked for one
And the Head graciously allowed it

Or because the Head
in goodwill
wanted my representation there

The absolute worse thing I could do
Is try to turn the table I’m a guest at
So that I am now the Head

For that I deserve to be dismissed

If I want to be the Head
I must create my own Table
